CEO Stefan Holländer shares his view on Quantica's strategic focus and future.
As we step into 2025, we at Quantica are filled with anticipation for what lies ahead. This year marks a significant turning point for us, embodying both continuity and transformation.
Quantica has seen remarkable evolution since its inception, and change continues to be a vital part of our journey. I am honored to have joined as CEO, bringing fresh perspectives and a commitment to steering Quantica towards a promising future. Alongside me, we’ve welcomed a new Board Advisor, Martin Schoeppler, the former CEO of Fujifilm Dimatix, whose experience will offer great insight with strategic direction.
Last year marketed the beginning of a pivotal shift in our strategy, one that we aim to build upon in 2025. While 3D printing will remain part of our offerings, it is not the only focus of our identity. Our journey now centers on specific industrial applications, moving from single-layer processes to multi-layer solutions that promise to transform industries. These applications, though initially few layers, carry the potential for tremendous impact, offering transformative possibilities.
Our expanded focus necessitates a broader identity. While you can always find us at q3d.io, we are proud to introduce our official domain, quantica.io. This change symbolizes our evolution into a company that goes beyond 3D printing, emphasizing our expanded capabilities and potential.
We are doubling down on our application development services. In 2025, we anticipate introducing a range of innovative applications, spanning industrial adhesives essential for fuel cell and e-motor production to advanced coatings for the automotive, electronics, and battery sectors. We are proud to collaborate with some of the largest manufacturers in the world, including three of the top four automotive companies, a globally recognized aerospace leader, and industry pioneers in displays, semiconductors, and e-motor technologies. Additionally, we are advancing innovation through research partnerships with renowned institutions such as Fraunhofer IPA and iPrint.
Of course, one constant remains: our groundbreaking NovoJet™ Printhead technology. This core innovation is transforming manufacturing processes across industries, enabling the precise printing of challenging, high-viscosity materials.
Our partners and early customers are already working with the first printheads integrated into our JetPack system—an essential tool that empowers users to validate new materials and print patterns. These validations represent a critical step in process development, paving the way for new manufacturing possibilities.
As we head into 2025, we remain committed to our mission of delivering a unique technology while expanding our application base. By offering a solution that enables greater automation, reduces waste, and drives more efficient and flexible manufacturing processes, we aim to help usher in a new era of digital manufacturing. Together with our partners, customers, and team, we are sparking an avalanche of analog manufacturing processes transitioning to digital—redefining industries and setting new standards for the future.
Thank you for being part of this transformative journey. We look forward to a year of innovation, growth, and success.
