Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Mechanical Engineer to deliver innovative, high quality leading-edge solutions for the 2D/3D Printing industry in a fast paced, highly collaborative and multidisciplinary environment. This position is located in Barcelona or Berlin, with occasional travel requirements either between Quantica sites or travel to customers, partners and suppliers.

Your Roles and Responsibilities will be
  • Design and development of electro-mechanical systems devoted to layer deposition of viscous materials, from concept to market introduction
  • Exciting team-work with our international colleagues and external partners & customers
  • Deliver high quality Hardware design that is ready for production and delivers the functionality
  • Guide and develop team members via providing technical guidance and documentation
  • Drive execution planning and implementation of engineering processes and standards

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor, Master or above degree in any mechanical engineering related discipline
  • Min. 7+ years experience in a similar position for product design and development, ideally in a Printing or 3D Printing adjacent industry
  • Strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering principles and design, including concept and architecture
  • Excellent knowledge of ME fundamentals: CAD, CAE, system modelization, prototyping, tolerance analysis, specifications (GD&T / ISO GPS), DFMEA, etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent language skills in English
